Petrochemistry Borouge is a producer of polyolefins [1] [2]. This petrochemical product is a joint venture of the National Petroleum Company of Abu Dhabi and Borealis of Australia. The company was founded in 1998 and has two complementary companies: Abu Dhabi Polymers Private Limited Company (Borouge)- a manufacturing company located in Abu Dhabi- and a private limited liability company located in Singapore. 

Borouge produces polyolefin plastics (polyethylene and polypropylene). The company focuses on final users with a large and diverse population in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. The improved polyethylene Borstar is produced in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and Borealis produces a of special products [3].
