Black polyethylene material
Black polyethylene pipe material
Black polyethylene materials are used as raw materials for production of polyethylene pipes. Polyethylene pipes are made in black, and natural polyethylene materials, are white, and to blacken the polyethylene pipes use an additive (masterbatch). Use from masterbatch if not controlled, and correct amount of masterbatch is not properly added to white polyethylene materials, and also in the extruded phase, if not fully dispersed, quality of pipe will be reduced and polyethylene pipe has error in tests, And these polyethylene pipes cannot be used in sensitive and strategic applications, and their life span sharply decreases.
Black polyethylene products were designed and developed to solve the problems mentioned above, and their test results are excellent, Polyethylene pipes produced with black material have high strength, and life span of pipes made with black polyethylene materials is about 100 years old. These pipes are suitable for use in polyethylene pipelines such as firefighting systems, drinking water lines, high-pressure lines, for work at sea and in bad weather conditions.
Black polyethylene materials are produced in grades PE80 and PE100 . In the world's petrochemicals, production of black PE 80 has almost reached zero, and use of polyethylene PE80 is obsolete.
Polyethylene PE100 is used to produce polyethylene single-wall pipe, and none of the petrochemicals in the country, produced black polyethylene. Best Black polyethylene material is Borouge, and after that, are black material produced from Korea and Saudi Arabia. Polyethylene black PE100 material has recently been manufactured and marketed by two reputed domestic petrochemicals, they have a decent and competitive quality, and pipes produced with these materials have been successful in tests.
Difference between imported black polyethylene materials for example Borouge is very simple with internal polyethylene materials. When shopping, take material table from the manufacturer, there are values and tables that determine molecular size of polyethylene material. When materials are delivered to the factory, test material, and values obtained must exactly match with table. In imported materials such as Borouge, values of this experiments have not changed over the years, But in internal Black polyethylene materials, these values are vary within in standard range.
