Borouge continues to expand its innovation capability. In November 2013, Borouge completed a New Innovation Center in Abu Dhabi to focus on pipelines, advanced and automated packaging solutions.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Based on one of Borouge’s main values - "respect," which means that Borouge is a good neighbor wherever it works and given the fact that we live, regardless of distance in a world, CSR is a feature of society and humans. In addition, Borouge understands the increasing need of paying more attention to the environment. It does this in a number of ways, such as promoting recycling (as mentioned in our mission statement), providing continuous and sustainable support throughout the supply chain, and empowering communities to increase their understanding and participation in the development and improvement of the environment. The CSR of Borouge considers four main elements: The goal at work should be to moved towards developing a healthy and positive working environment based on ethics, opportunities and equal values. The elements of the market place of the CSR cycle include the continuous pursuit of business ethics, and, deals with people ethically regardless of their culture and background. Helping communities in the places where we work that are clearly evident in our nuclear values, including clearly "respect" for the "environment". It acknowledges that Borouge is needed to ensure they are a positive contributor in events and global innovations such as "climate change" and "sustainable development."

The community and social life of North Asia

Inside Borouge, individuals develop many social activities on common basics. They strongly encourage employees to take part in clubs and sports tournaments.
The Borouge football team is one of the most active sports teams. Each weekend, the team members gather together and spend time in the green rectangle. They also compete with teams from other offices every year in friendly matches and tournaments, or they hold competitions and tournaments.

Borouge members spend at least two-days in a year with colleagues and their families, go to camps to discover and explore beautiful and interesting places inside and outside the city.

The annual dinner on which the anniversary of the company is celebrated is one of the great events and ceremonies that includes awarding and celebrating those who are significant contributors to the organization's excellence and excellent performance throughout the year.
