White polyethylene materials
Natural HDPE materials
White or natural HDPE materials are manufactured by national (Iranian) petrochemicals. These HDPE products are produced in three company of Amirkabir, Jam and Maroon petrochemicals, and are also offered on stock. Nonetheless, the capacity of these petrochemical complexes does not meet the market demands and domestic consumption. Likewise, their product are not applicable for the production of Drink water pipes, gas Pipe and Fire Fighting systems. Additionally, because they are non-colored and when added to the extrusion process, the master batch (pigment and soot) is added to them, the HDPE pipe produced from these materials will not have high resistance to sunlight or will not meet a long life expectancy. In recent years, some of these national petrochemicals have announced the production of black polyethylene materials for the production of HDPE pipes, however, this product has not been widely distributed in marker and stock, and has not passed its tests consequently.
White HDPE materials are regularly utilized for urban and rural sewage network, irrigation networks of agricultural land and gardens, and the liquid transfer systems that are not exposed to direct sunlight.
The process of producing white polyethylene materials
This unit is divided into two main primary sorts of polymerization and granulation. First, a catalyst is prepared in the catalyst preparation and then enters the polymerization zone and the reactors, along with the feed (ethylene, hydrogen, butane) and hexane (the polymerization reaction medium). Being determined by the type of grid that is being considered, the polymerization reaction in the first two reactors is carried out in parallel or reactor series.
