Petrochemistry Borouge is a producer of polyolefins. This petrochemical product is a joint venture of the National Petroleum Company of Abu Dhabi and Borealis of Australia. The company was founded in 1998 and has two complementary companies: Abu Dhabi Polymers Private Limited Company (Borouge)- a manufacturing company located in Abu Dhabi- and a private limited liability company located in Singapore.  

Borouge produces polyolefin plastics (polyethylene and polypropylene). The company focuses on final users with a large and diverse population in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. The improved polyethylene Borstar is produced in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and Borealis produces a of special products

Borouge is expanding its commercial and logistics network in the Middle East and Asia and investing in its Innovation Centre in Abu Dhabi and R&D Application Centre in Shanghai. Brostar HE3490-LS is recommended for pressure pipe systems in the applications field of drinking water and natural gas, pressure sewerage, relining, sea outfalland industrial. It is especially designed for the production of larger diameter, thick wall pipe, but can be processed for the whole range of diameters. It also shows excellent resistance to rapid crack propagation and slow crack growth.
